The bar is our area of expertise and after 10 years, we’ve seen all types of wedding bar setups and budgets. Hopefully these tips will help you start thinking about your own wedding bar, and down the road will help you select your bar service.
1. Signature drinks don’t have to be crazy expensive to be fun
The cost varies based on the liquors used and how “crafted” the drink is. If you have a partying crowd, choose a signature drink that can be batched in a dispenser for quick serving. If you are looking for a more upscale experience, choose something more crafted.
2. Have a signature drink without hard alcohol in it
Think Sangria or mulled wine. This is a great way to add a signature drink to your wedding bar without adding a ton of cost.
3. Tailor your bar by product type or exact brands
Our bar packages can be tailored by having the couple select between beer, wine, and/or liquor, and then again by selecting exact brands (Bud Light, Bogle Merlot, Absolut Vodka). This can help each couple stay within a budget, while still having a custom beverage catering experience.
4. Have a "nightcap" send off
If you and your partner have a liquor you really enjoy, incorporate it as a special part of your toast or even to be served as a nightcap. It can be a simple pour of whiskey on the rocks or something with a little sweetness, like a dessert send off.
